DownloadA Residents Association is an organisation composed of voluntary members which aims to improve the social and communal facilities of the neighbourhood and to conserve or improve the safety of the local environment and infrastructure. The Association will seek to keep all residents informed of their rights and help to provide updates on national news items that affect all Park Home Residents. Once we have the support of more than 50% of all residents we can apply for 'Qualifying' status with legal recognition under the Mobile Homes Act 1983.
With representation for all members, the Association will provide a sound basis to ensure that any concerns from residents can be dealt with in the correct manner. You will receive regular newsletters with information about local and national issues that affect all park home owners. You will be able to contact other members and the committee to discuss issues that are important to you as a park home owner on Hayes Country Park. Newsletters, other information from third-party groups such as IPHAS and PHOJC and contact with the committee will not be available to non-members. Your support as a member will help us to seek 'qualifying status', make the Association stronger and better positioned to liaise with the Site Owner, Management and the Local Authority.
Membership forms are available to download on the 'About Us' page of this website. If you know someone who would benefit from membership of the Association, please pass on a membership form or ask them to contact one of the committee members.
All decisions of the Association will be democratic - with voting rights for all members before any formal action is taken on any major issues. The committee will be elected from the membership, by the membership and, aside from administrative duties, will have to consult with all members on all concerns and necessary actions.
The current organisers will stand for election (or stand down) as soon as the preliminary work is complete and the framework is in place to establish a Residents Association that can be taken forward to 'Qualifying' status.
The newly formed Association will require three statutory committee posts - Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. There will also be other committee positions for up to four other residents. There will be no representation from the site owner or park management - this is not allowed under the Mobile Homes Act 1983.
If you would like to help as a committee member and represent your community at Hayes Country Park, please let the current organisers know using the following email address:
