IPHAS

The benefits of IPHAS membership:

The current proposal for membership fees for the Residents Association includes an annual joining fee of £5 to IPHAS (Independent Park Home Advisory Service).

Membership of IPHAS is open to all occupiers of a park home. IPHAS provide a friendly advice service to all members on a multitude of subjects. They also publish useful information on all issues that affect park home occupiers.

IPHAS is an award-winning body who are currently the 'Specialist Advisory Service of the Year 2022, 2023'

Members can contact IPHAS directly for assistance - either by phone or email. If they can't help on a particular subject, they will probably know someone who can.

Recent posts and information from IPHAS has included:

  • Guidelines on the Energy Bill Support Scheme and how much money was due to park home occupiers,
  • Details of the availability of cost of living grants such as the Warm Homes Discount,
  • Issues that IPHAS has raised with Government including discussions on the current 10% levy paid to the site owner when selling your lodge,
  • Latest benefits available to those park home occupiers living on pensions,
  • Advice on the pitch fee increase changes form RPI to CPI as from 3rd July 2023.

If you need advice or feel unsure about a particular issue, you can either contact IPHAS directly or through your Residents Association representative. See further information in the 'Downloads' section below.

If you are already a member of IPHAS or do not wish to join, please let us know when you complete your payment and your membership fee for the Residents Association will be reduced accordingly.

Park Home Owners Justice Campaign

Park Home Owners Justice Campaign

The Park Home Owners Justice Campaign are a group of volunteers that campaign to the Government to improve the rights of all park home owners and residents. They were the most prominent group involved in getting the pitch fee increase changed from RPI to CPI and are now campaigning to secure a reduction in the 10% fee that you have to pay the site owner when you sell your park home.

Should you wish to support their campaign to secure a reduction, they would like park home owners to write their local MP, the Secretary of State for Levelling Up Housing & Communities and the Prime Minister.

Example letters can be downloaded using the links below.

We will try to keep you updated with the campaign progress on this page but should you wish to follow the progress directly you can do so by emailing memsec@phojc.co.uk with your name, postal address and email address and ask to be put on the mailing list.
